Hi Folks,

Hope you can help me, i have just purchased the M-Audio fasttrack pro and i want to connect it to my Roland HD1 drum so i can stream some drumming over the internet via a shoutcast server through my laptop, the fast track pro is connect via usb to my laptop, the HD1 has a very simple drum brain with only the following ports, MIDI out at the top, mix (this is where i plug my ipod in), output (that goes to the PM-01 amp) and lastly the headphone socket.

I bought a 3.5mm to RCA and connected my HD1 from the headphones to output 3 & 4 of the fast track pro, this produces some sound but it so crackly that you cannot tell its a drum.

Am i connecting this up wrong? I tried from the output socket on the HD1 and still get the same result.

Do i need extra cables...or have i just bought the wrong device arrghhhhhh.

Thanks for all your help

Steve

You just need to connect the HD1 to the 'inputs' on the front of the Fast Track. 3.5mm stereo to two 1/4" adapter. :)
