m-audio 5.10.00.29x12 (beta) driver

Are you using this driver for your delta 44/66/1010 and sonar XL setup? I understand that the sample-lag problem is corrected with this driver, isn't it so? Their earlier driver for fixing this problem didn't have low-latency WDM support. Does the new 5.10.00.29x12 driver allow low-latency software monitoring? I don't have a delta card, but I'm considering buying an omni-studio, but the low latency monitoring has to work.

Thanks. So it seems like the new drivers allow low latency, but only works for some. I have a i850 motherboard that is not known to have any problems with soundcard-drivers. Can I count on that these drivers will work on my system?
 
You can hope and pray, but you won't know for shure untill you've tested it yourself. There is no way to tell...

Sorry for the tone, but that's just the way it is. ;)
 
I know, but you know what? It sucks, not to be able to tell if a soundcard will fit my needs until AFTER I've bought it.
