Dell Vostro 200 - Windows XP; Version 5.1.2600; Dual CPU, E2140@1.60GHz; 2GB RAM.
I use it with AKG 200 microphone, firewire and. MAudio 410. It worked fine with old computer, Dell Dimension 4600.
Since new computer...there is ambient noise when M-Audio Program engaged before AND during recording. Help. M-Audio Support says it is not their problem. DELL might be the problem. HELP. I coach in my home and professional equipment is necessary. any ideas? I have already swapped out microphones, all cable connections, M-Audio boxes, firewire cards, 2 different computers and electrical outlets as well as headphones.
