Definately better then Britney. Have you read the newe in-depth review of Lateralus at CDNOW? What I would do to get a copy of that. They keep making me drool with their descriptions. Theres a copy of the article at toolshed, along with the cover art.

Maybe he held the Epilady over the pickups. Anything with an electric motor or any kind of electromagnetic transducer (like a speaker) will be picked up by guitar p/u's. Reeves Gabrels (sick and very innovative player...check him out) used to use vibrators with Tin Machine. I've used all manner of small tape players and kids toys to get sound effects. Processed through effects and amped-up, this stuff can sound pretty cool in the right context.
