To sum up my question quickly. Do you think a piece of 2" standard packaging foam will catch on fire inside of my aluminum computer case. My case hasn't read to get hotter then 86 degrees farenheit inside. But I want to be on the safe side. I got the idea from another expensive case that actually uses foam inserted in empty drive bays etc. to reduce noise.
Also, their is a type of thin foam sold for trying to absorb case noise. Check out this link:
