Hey all.. This is my first so hello to u all.. I just noticed this problem the otha night.. When routing my MPC throo the Mackie 1202VLZ Pro mixer and then to the amp, the volume is considerably lower than if I just simply connect the MPC directly to the amp.. Why is this?!? Am I losing sound?!? All of my levels on the meters are fine, however, the sound is VERY low... EXTREMELY.. Even with all of the knobs on EVERYTHING turned to full blast.. Please help.. Any advice or suggestion are EXTREMELY welcomed.. Thanks in advance guys.. PEACEOUTT!!

Okie...... plug your MPC into one of the line in's on the Mackie, get some good levels(average at 0, Peak no higher than +3 or +4), then plug your amp FROM the CONTROL ROOM OUTPUTS on the back of your Mackie TO the inputs of your AMP, then use the CTL ROOM/SUBMIX knob for you volume.......

Thats what I do, and my god is this sensitive........ I can't put my CTL ROOM knob past 9:00 without being blown away.

Sabith

Thanks..

No doubt!! I will definitely look into that once I get home... I do believe that all of my connections are correct, but I will double-check.. I wonder if the cables may have sumthin' to do with it as well?!? Hmmm... Possibly?!? Could u tell me what type/brand of cables u are using? Thanks in advance!! PEACEOUTT!!
