Looping not working in Sonar

for some reason, looping will not work (ie getting a section to loop over and over again), either in playback or recording mode. It worked fine until not too long ago, I reset my latency slider all the way to 100ms for playback, but it still doesn't work.

I guess I should try it on a tune with fewer tracks, but still, it seemed to work great a week ago, now it doesn't. I have a tune with 16 tracks of audio, and 5 MIDI tracks, I removed ALL plugins, and it still won't go.

P4 1.6 GHz, 128 RAM, SOnar 2.2 XL, Audiophile 2496, Reason rewired into it.

Any ideas?

It depends:

What exactly doesen't work?

Do you get a dropout every time it loops?
Notes not playing together after looping?
Or does it just play through the song without looping at all?

yes, it would help if I described it better, wouldn't it....

It drops out. that is, it plays the first time, then the "now" meter and line move back to the beginning of the loop and it drops out.
