Loop Pedal help please!

Hi guys,

This is my first post, hopefully it's in the right section! Basically I'm just getting into looping and I want to make sure that I get the best sound possible for any recordings I do at home. I have the presonus audio itwo interface; would this work as a pre-amp? If so does the setup go - loop pedal - audio box -amp? If not, what other equipment would I need to get? I have a boss rc30 if that helps. Sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm a total newbie when it comes to equipment.

Guitar > looper > amp. Put mic in front of amp speaker > presonus > DAW. No mic? Then just do guitar > looper > presonus >DAW
 
I have a mic but I'd be using that attached to the looper to record vocals too. Do I just need a regular cable to connect the looper to my audio box? Sorry if these are silly questions!
