Hi_D_Ho_Man

Tha' So & So ,So & So
For vocals and hand percussion.

Is the voicemaster pro considered clean or colored? i did a search but did'nt come up with a clear conclusion.

It's relatively clean. It's cleaner than a mackie. It is class A but that doesn't really mean anything. It is a step up from most preamps.

Thanx for the quick response. appreciate it

In my world, it`s a step down.....

BTW, what is "most preamps"?????

the best way I found to improve my front end was a few bags of silicone gel and a push-up bra. word.

The cheaper Focusrite gear never did it for me...I'd rather have an FMR RNP with an FMR RNC if you need a easy on the wallet pro "line strip". Add a Speck ASC-T-NA if you need a great EQ for not much cost.

The Voicemaster Pro is substantially better than the RNP in terms of versatility. You guys must be confusing it with a regular voicemaster? Go compare for yourselves but I heard em both and bought the VM Pro.

I agree. The Vocalmaster PRO is a great pre-strip. After all the bashing is done and over with, this is going to be a preamp that will last. People bash because of FRs past products. But, the more I use it, the better it is.

same thing here...

The more I use it, the more I appreciate it.
