I dig the vocals. The tone of the voice is great and I like the mumbling actually. The timbre of the voice reminds me of someone that I can't quite put my finger on... something along the lines of Michael Penn or Ken Stringfellow.

I like the tune. I think the long instrumental bit gets a bit meandering and indulgent with the key changes.

I like the lo-fi guitars too. Something to reference for future tunes with similar guitar parts... Stina Nordenstam's "The World Is Saved" album. She has really similar rhythm guitar parts and they kinda fill up the same space that yours are. I think her tones are really cool though. That album would be a treasure chest of tone ideas if you continue to record tunes similar to this one.

Nice song! I like version 2 better. I'm pm'ed you a url to an mp3 with a concept for a bass line. If you like it, I can send you the file or expand/reperform it, or you could get someone else (who can actually play bass) to do that, etc. Anyway, check your PMs. I couldn't do anything with that extended outro except mess it up, so I left it alone.

disclaimer: poster is not licensed to play bass in any jurisdiction.

Yes - and don't everyone hold back - this song needs several bass lines :D
