Looking for that big guitar sound

On guitar recording you have to keep the main thing the main thing....
The sound coming out of your amp.

If the sound coming out of your amp is incredible the recording can sound incredible with minor tweaking.

If the sound coming out of your amp sucks the recording will suck no matter how much you tweak it

Record producers and engineers spend a lot of time tweaking the guitar sound before ever hitting the record button
 
Yes, I think the double and panning has made an improvement. I will try the blanket idea in the next time. See what that does.

That first one is a CAE 3. That K is awesome in the room. The others were the Mesa Dual Recto simulator from BX. I used the demo's settings shown in the video.

Whats a CAE 3 go for ...its not 1993 anymore? $3-4 grand?
The Brainworx amp sim was $9.
