Yeh I’m happy to pay a premium for a working deck … unfortunately none of them on Reverb are functional. Looking for a tech to mail one off to; in that event I would just grab the best one on Reverb.

Why 144 vs 244?

I like the sound + the ‘70s vibe of the design. Reminds me more of the old school Teac sound (like the Model 5 vs M35). Also prefer the simplicity of the EQ and layout.
