Hi! I have never been through any vocal lessons or anything and my singing experience is limited only to a few solo performances at school and one singing contest. I have a lot of things I have to improve with my voice and singing.

This here is my cover for Just Give Me a Reason (the attachment). I am open to any criticisms and tips are very highly welcome! If you could give me a tip on how to improve my vocal range, that would be really great. Thanks!

I couldn't post any links previously, but since now I can, here it is :D https://soundcloud.com/quennie-anne-sabanal/just-give-me-a-reason-cover

Get a soundcloud account and post your stuff there... I'm personally not going to wait for an entire song to be downloaded on my computer just to listen to you. Don't make it difficult for those who would help you, is my advice...

I would only suggest finding your own voice. Going through the motions of singing a song that was written/sung by someone else is a great way to learn. But, it will not be what makes you find what your voice really is. What that is, I don't know. That is for you to decide. But try not to emulate others, unless you plan to do only that.

Keep singing! :)

Pitch control is something you should focus on right now. You have some nice qualities in your voice, but if you miss a note, you have not done your homework...

Hi! Thank you so much for your feedback :D You are right about the pitch control. I'm currently working on it. Do you have any suggestion on what could help me? Thanks again! :D

Lots of practice...listen really carefully to the nuances of what's coming out when you sing.

If you have any pitch-plugins on your daw, use them to visually check how far off pitch you are....and what you'd sound like when perfectly on pitch.

I often find that after a good warm up my pitching improves...and after several days of singing I'm more accurate than if I try and sing once a week.
