Im trying to pick up a few extra shure sm-57's. If anyone has any they would like to sell in the 45-50 dollar area send me an email

i think these things are impossible to find used. Ive been digging through every gear classified/auction site that i can and its like im always a minute late. I know you guys all own at least 3 or 4 of them so STOP snatching them up, so i can grab a few extras.
Im getting frustrated to the point that I may just buy new.
 
These things sell all the time on eBay, I just unloaded 3 myself (I had 8) for about $56 each. That's about the going rate.

ive been keeping a close eye on ebay. I can't see paying 60 bucks plus shipping on beat up 57s when i can buy new ones with a warranty (not like they ever break)for just a little more than that. I guess these things just don't devalue lol. Im keeping a lookout though.
 
Yeah 'tis true. But then I'm not complaining as I was selling & not buying!

I don't know why the 57s sell for so much, but I bought a pair of basically unused 81s for $200 each, now that was sweet.

It's a like new/mint '57 BTW, complete with manual, clip,
and original box.

P.S. SM57's vary in tone BTW, this is a very nice sounding one-
for vocals at least. Always used a pop screen too.
