looking for mastering engineer in western NC area

i love negative rep
i run a small recording studio in the western NC area, and somehow manage to keep steady work.

people are always requesting a reference for a (relatively) local master that i like...... problem being, i don't know one. i mean i know a few that "say" they master (you know how that goes). but i'd like some one i can trust enough to refer people to them, and my clients often enough want someone "local" (just makes them feel better i guess).

please give links to work (posted anywhere... i don't actually care if you have a web page or not)

samples of my work "self mastered" except sing, which was mastered by someone else, can be heard in my sig.

i would appreciate flexibility because clients needs (monetarily) will range from may 300$ an album (bare minimum) up to maybe 1700$ depending.

will be able to refer maybe 7-15 album projects per year (who knows? not everyone is intrested in mastering, plenty of demo work too) so it's not a house on the beech, it's just a little more work.

i know there's a ton of more than capable people out there, but people just want someone tangible, not just a webpage and e-mail.
so western NC only please.

Have you done any online Yellow Pages searches? You can search by proximity to zip code and include entire states in the search criteria. if you're looking for a real ME instead of a Sears ME, chances are good they've hung a shingle in the 'Pages.

Also check the Mix magaine directory of studios. I'm not sure if they have the directory online or not, but it is stocked in the magazine section of most Border's book stores.

Contact John Scrip of Massive Mastering. That's where our studio has been sending things to be mastered and he does a phenom job.

looking for SWM
interests include music of all types, occasional video project, and live musical events such as jazz and classical.
strong communication skills a must.
from charlotte NC to Tennessee border preferred for long term relationship to benefit both parties. :D
