Looking for KORG SP-100 Manual.

I've just bought KORG SP-100 Digital Piano without a owner's manual book. Second hand, good quality. Does anyone know the link to download the copy of the owner manual book ? (usualy .pdf or .doc). I need it so bad... Thanks !!!
 
The bad news is that Korg doesn't put their manuals in PDF for the Web. Are there any specific things that you need to know?

Yeah, it's too bad for great keyboard/synth manufacturer to not putting their manual online...:mad: Hey... anyone at KORG, hear this !!! Put 'em online, will ya' ?!!!

BTW, I need to know about the button "function". It's there. but for what ? how can I play transpose ? is it posible to "layering" a sound ? how ? etc... But the main question is the "Function" button... Thank's lot.
 
Now then lets see....
after pressing function button it will blink then
(do one of these things coming up e2 means e in 2nd scale!)

1) press d2, e2 or f2 (touch sens)
2) press b4, c5 or d5 (pitch)
3) press c3-d#4 (select midi channel)
4) press f#5-b5 (transpose down 6-1 semitones)
5) press c6 (standard pitch transpose)
6) press c#6-f6 (transpose up 1-6 semitones)

There is also a DUAL mode where the Sp-100 can layer 2 internal keyboard sounds.

The MIDI is also controlled with the function key:

Press function and the LED will start blinking then one of the following:

1. c3-d#4 selects midi transmit and receive channel 1 - 16
2. E1 - only receive on one midn channel, F1 - receive on all midi channels
3. A1 - local SP100 sounds on, G1 - local SP100 sounds off.
4. B1 - reception off for all 16 channels and dual mode on, C2 - reception on all 16 channels and dual mode off.

I use my SP-100 primarily as a MIDI controller for an EMU B3 so I keep the midi on and the local off most of the time.

Most of all, it works just like what you figure out, but what sense do I can control by pressing d2, e2, or f2 ? I don't hear any difference in "touch sense" after pressing these keys. Neither "pitch" difference by pressing b4, c5 or d5. Is it my mistake or what ? :D but I need to be more explained on that sections... Thank's lot. :)
 
Touch sense...

Its like dealing with a good woman (You're American you can't see the English TV program I mean- "The Fast Show"! )

Just say to them "D4" if u want light touch
"E2" Normal
"F2" Heavy

The same applies to the SP-100!

If you can't tell the difference then NEITHER CAN I

And that applies to both!
 
Hahaha... dealing with a "good woman..." huh... ?! :D Yeah, I can feel now. The sense. When I press D2, it sounds hard even when I play soft... F2 vica versa. Thank's alot... Goes the same with the pitch. All you got to do is turning up alittle bit of the volume in your amps, so you get a louder & clearer sound to hear... close your eyes... Voila... you can hear the difference... :) But wait...
Now, how to turn my woman's up and down ? ( ... the tempo of the metronome ?) :D

Oh Ok then here it is!

The metronome

The SP 100 incorporates a metronome, with which you can set the tempo during practice.

Starting the metronome. Press METRONOME to make the metronome start or stop. When turning on, the metronome is set at J = 120, but you can adjust it with the procedure described below. After having listened to the demo, the tempo will be of the last demo that had been listened to.

Adjusting the metronome volume. While the metronome is working, keep the FUNCTION button pressed and press RECORD repeatedly to lower the volume, or PLAY to raise it.

Adjusting the tempo. Keep the METRONOME button pressed and keep the RECORD button pressed to slow it down gradually, or PLAY to speed it up gradually.

Selecting a predetermined tempo, Keep the METRONOME button pressed, and press RECORD repeatedly to slow it down, or PLAY to speed it up. Each time you press, a predetermined tempo will be selected:

40<>6O<>70<>80<> 90<>100< >120< >150<>180<>210<>240

Indicating the tempo number value. In order to indicate the exact tempo number value, follow this procedure.

Keep the METRONOME button pressed.

Press the B5 ("Activate numbers") key on the keyboard.

Choose a three digit number by using the appropriate keys (see table). Before a two digit number put a "0".

Example: To choose a tempo of 168 select 1, 6, 8. To choose a tempo of 85 select 0, 8, 5

Press the B6 ("Confirm") key on the keyboard.

Release the metronome button

G6 7

B5 activate numbers
B6 confirm

Getting back to tempo =120
Keep metronome button pressed and press RECORD and PLAY together

Selecting the time signature While Metronome is working keep METRONOME button pressed and press button for time sig.
you wish to use (see table). 1st Movement of measure will be accented To deactivate the accent, keep METRONOME pressed and press PIANO.

I recomend you to be the force of... speaking the tempo... imediatelly... :D BTW, If I play dual sound, would it decreases the polyphony to 16 each? Once again, thank's a lot Johnhoe...
 
The oracle of the Korg speaks forth thus...
"The piano and the organ have 16 note polyphony. All the other sounds have 32 note. Dual mode reduces the polyphony according to the sounds selected"

I recently bought this SP 100 and its so so so nice. But, I am really confused with the damper pedal. I cant handle the sustain level. Can anyone advise me on how to adjust the sustain level? Would really be grateful for the help.
