Local Spiderman
This is an mp3 of some drum playing recorded on an mr-8 with 3 mics (all cheap mics ...meaning less-than-radioshack quality..well one may be decent, but i don't know, it was given to me... anyway...)....one mic next to the floor tom, one mic sitting in the bass on a pillow and one mic to the left of the stool facing between the hat and the snare.

just click on "stream hi" under the song title.

I want to get an idea of how it sounds to more experienced ears. And what i'm hoping for is ideas of what frequencies to adjust to make the sound better.

i really would like to know and learn what a more experienced person would do with the sound with eq because i would like to learn to train my ear to hear these frequencies.

thanks for the help

soundslike when i used to record striaght into a minidisc plaer alond while back using headphones for the kickand cheap plastic mics one over the ride and over the snare
which lacks low end
and its mostly midrangy with some high end blurred in when u upgrade mics ull wonder why u hadnt along while ago and u wont ave to place them in wierd parts of the drum set cuz ull porply be more expeirienced by then
