Cured it! Means I can use my previously, 'noisy' samples, without re-recording. Probably.
By pure chance, I found a noise removal tool on my Edison recorder in FL Studio, by stumbling across a video tutorial on YouTube. I can't believe how efficient it is. Not REDUCTION but TOTAL REMOVAL! Acquire a noise profile, click 'denoiser' and set the Freq. scale, threshold and amount - away you go...
Sounds too good to be true, but every time I find something new that FL Studio does, I just have to congratulate myself for buying it!
I anticipated some 'damage' to the original recording, but after A/B ing it with the original, it makes me sound like I have a better microphone.
