ok, here's the story,
i got a great mixer, but i'm slowly getting interested in something new...
i got 24 XLR inputs, 24 d/o , 24 inserts, 4 aux (2 post 2 pre) and only ONE stereo master output
its good enough for what i'm doing, i'm experimenting alot with the auxiliaries so i can record in multitrack....
but i'd like to have a mixing desc that doesn't have any flaws,,,,,,this one occasionally makes noize, the real painfull 120db SQUIEEEK noize when you turn the parametric eq.....makes your ears bleed...
and some Busses would be nice too..
i'm not gonna sell this one real soon, i might even keep it,
but one day i'll need something real decent...
so i'm looking for something with at least 12 XLR inputs,
doesn't have to be more.... 4 busses would be great,
some auxiliaries, .....blabla....just the basic stuff,
but a real nice sounding mixer, with good pre amps, and a very low noize profile....
maybe even an 8 channel mixer is good enough,
one that i'll only use for EXPENSIVE recordings.....
in that case i keep my studiomaster....for drums or live recordings...... and i use that little 8 channel bitch for the REAL stuff.....
i know all the brands, i know who are good and who suck.... but i don't know the difference between the sound, preamps, ....all i'm concerned about is real great quality.... so no behringer junk please....
any suggestions ?.
friendly regards,
