Ok cool, so here's my opinion on the whole thing.

Concentrate on getting the clearest, brightest, most consistent recorded sound that you can, Like clip 1 of 3 from earlier.

Then, use your effects really really sparingly. There's no need to boost or cut anything by more than 2db, or to compress by more than maybe 3.

Sound good?

yeah sounds good..but am not sure if am eqing right on logic?

steen how did u do that effect on the end of my rap verse i love that

um right at the end the way yu got it like echoing..also am having problems..i think i eqed it right but on my logic mix am doing now the so is like sssooo like dunno sounds sibliant/hissy ?

Sorry, i got carried away, lol. I copied the last line out manually and increased the reverb on those copies.

Did you think my mix was sibilant?
If not, you might have boosted the high end to much with your eq, or over compressed.

how did the do the ..got her like got her like effect at the end of yours..am going to re check the eq now..listening to yours it's also slightly on yours so maybe the way i said it

I literally just duplicated the last line twice and automated the volume down and the reverb up.

aah i see. probably i got now is i got it perfect but it sounds too dry on my mix damn ;(

okay how can i tell..if ive done eq wrong ?

Hey man, why don't you post a screenshot of your EQ plugin so we can have a look? You can take a screen shot by pushing shift + command (apple) + 4 and then you drag over the spot you want to capture. The image will be on your desktop and then you can upload it somewhere.

thanks guitar sorry, i was looking in this mixing book about eq.
:great idea will do

Okay you can see my mixer on this audio 1..is the backing track..audio 2 the main vocals..and audio 3 the yeah..the yeah for audio 3 completely happy with..just audio 2 am trying to get perfect..
here you go if you could advise whats wrong with my settings and why so i can learn be fantastic...im struggling as theres so many reverbs..

Ahhh, your high end eq is a shelf rather than a notch. That might make all the difference.
They way I did it was a little bump that didn't extend much farther than 10k.

how do i change that on the eq and were are you referring to sorry i'm not experienced with it..do you think theres problems with my compression/reverb settings too..or?

Look along the top of the eq. There are 8 squares, 6 of them lit up blue?

The extreme right hand blue one is set for shelf. If you click it it will eventually change to notch, like the others.

steencan u do me a favour and circle where you mean..think ive done it but nore 100% thsnks
