Live Track

We had a party here. I'd rather play music than stand around talking, to tell the truth. My wife's playing bass. I'm on vocal and lead gtr. Everything's just sloppy and improvised, even the lyrics, heh.

I've got separate tracks for vocal, bass, rhythm and lead gtrs but don't know if tweaking's going to matter much given the background noise. It was pretty loud.

You sound like roy orbison jamming blues at a Greyhound station.

That's certainly a different angle at a good classical player.

Thanks for the look.

Come to think of you oughta try singer/songwriting a tune Tim.
Id like to hear that.

Yeah, definitely have a Roy Orbison vibe going on with the vocals..sounds real cool...your right about the background noise, a bit overwhelming...what guitar were you playing and into what amp? Sounds pretty cool... I think I would like the ambiance/feel of the party if it was maybe a bit more in the background and the music up front more.

Nice lead sound, Tim.

This is cool - and very unusual. Thanks for sharing. I agree with finster that you should give singer/songwriter style a serious try.

What guitar are you playing here Tim? sounds great. I tell ya if i was at that party i would kick half of those noisey buggers out for being ignorant. :D its really ambient, it almost sounds like its been tweaked to sound live...could be great for a hidden track! You are on fire at the Minute Tim, Keep Posting...i always look forward to it!

This is very cool.

I think the backgroundnoise, sorta gives it a cool artistic wibe.
This would defenitly blend in on the Pink Floyd Meddle Record, kinda reminds me of that one tune, corporall clegg, or something.

Its the first time I`ve heard your Pipes Tim, damn shame that you have hidden them so well.
Your voice is very calming and suiting to this songwriter\blues kinda thing.

Sounds great to me, the playing is very fitting to the piece.

Sounds like a great party.

Its reminds me of Seamus...definetly a Meddle vibe to it!

That sounds awesome man!!!

You gotta lay some stuff down, the chatter is way distracting. I'd like to hear some more low end also!

Thank you for invitation Tim,
I'm coming and bringing the guitar and vine.
See you!

I prefer to play at parties too. :)

I wish the background was just a tiny bit lower, like the stuff Johnny Rivers used to do....

Bass playing is smooth, nice tone, does a nice job backing up the singing/guitar.

Love the lead licks - very tasty and jazzy.....

Nice improv on everything. Vocals do remind me of Orbison...

Even with the background noise you can get a nice sense of the quality of the playing and singing.

That's interesting and very entertaining Tim, I enjoyed the background noise and all. Guitar playing is sweet.

When we do music at parties it always ends up being drunken rap music, I'd say you're doing much, much better! :D

Tim !! I love this! Is that an upright Bass your wife is playing? It sounds really good! I didn't know she was a musician too. Tell her kudos !!!

The LIVE is soooo cool. The people chattering..the clinking of glasses. It felt as if I were there amidst it all.

Your vocals are great. I don't hear any Orbison though. I can't think of who it is, your vox puts me in mind of...but it is you and you sound great !!!!

Love those Blues!!!

Thanks for the party invite and the good time!!!

True :)

I think its similar to "Mademoiselle nobs" on The live at Pompeii Recording... it may well be a revised version. Great song either way!

Thanks for the Invitation, Timothy !

Next time I´ll be there.

*Killer backing vocals, you know... :D
