The audio technica isn't made anymore its rather old. I've done as much research as I could on it and i didn't come up with anything at all. Its a Mixing Console if that helps. It has 1/4 outs and the 3 pin kind of outs. The behringer only has 6 channels thats why I hate using it. W/out the drum set, I need 2 mics for Vocals, 2 Mics for Guitars, 1 mic for bass guitar. With a set it would be all that with 2 overheads a snare, and a bass drum mic.

heres some pictures of the board.

Ok that helps. So in the past you've been pluging the AT directly into the peakers? How are the main outs you used labeled on the board and does it say anything on the back of the unit about power output or wattage?

And what you tried was to plug the AT into the Berry and then the Berry into your speaker? If so ....that won't work. Pardon Me while I slap myself. :p

Gotta go but I'll be back this afternoon. Let me know something about your speakers and yourself and your budget and we'll go from there.

actually i fixed it. I feel so stupid now. I had the left and right outputs on the audio techinca plugged into the wrong berry inputs so I went back this morning and messed around w/ what inputs i used, it took away the ocean now it sounds like im camping but thats just because i have a crap 3 dollar cable plugged into the board. Its working fine now. I just need some more speakers right now.

thanks for all the help LT. bob

Lt. Bob

Lt. Bob I hooked everything up using my yamaha power amp and the power from my peavey mixer. This setup definantly gave our sound system a substantial volume boost. I just wanted to say thanks for all the usefull info, I feel confident in saying that I understand my gear a little bit better now. The gig is tomorrow night, Ill let you know how it goes.

Glad I could help. I'll be interested in how it works on a job. :)

Gig went well

Lt. Bob the gig went very well. We had way more than enough volume in our mains and we didnt have a problem with getting enough volume out of our monitors. Thanks for all the help and information. Ive been trying to figure this krap out forever and never really got it without having to just plug in stuff untill it worked like i wanted. SO thanks again

Hey...I spent a bunch of time in Macon and Lagrange, Georgia...you near there?

Macon is about 2 hours from here. Savannah is probably the closest city that you would recognize. Its about 45 mins away from Statesboro.

Hey this is Robby from Elohsa. Its cool to see that you joined this board. You can find out almost anything you need to know here. So I guess the Shroom gig went good. Sorry I wasn't able to make it, after our gig at Retrievers Fri night we were too tired to do anything, and we had to get some press packs together because we played in Atlanta for some industry people Monday. I gave a press pack to a guy from Sony, so I am pretty happy about that. Its cool to see that you are on the board. Oh and you can give me a call next time or e-mail and I would be happy to help you guys out with sound or something if you guys don't already have a sound guy for the gig.
