My band has resumed practicing from a winter layoff to get ready for this summers backyard bbq and pig roast circuit:p...we are trying some new tunes out and thought I would post a couple up for grins...
the 1st is Zeppelins "Nobody's Fault But Mine"...still working on my patch/sound for this, but it's pretty fun to play! Had a few beers at this point in practice so it is a bit sloppy..

The second is The Violent Femmes "Blister In The Sun"...1st time we ever tried it , so I'm not sure about the arrangement as we don't have a copy of the recording yet to check.....

Recorded with a single stereo room mic into my minidisc walkman...

Yay!!
"Nobodys Fault but Mine" is my favorite Led Zep toon ever. You guys sound like a big ole bunch of fun!
Lemme know when the tour starts. Ain't nuttin' like some Motor City yard-bird BBQ! Can I get back stage???? :-)

Peace!

NFBM - is SUCH a cool song.
It's great to hear someone playing the lesser knowns & obviously enjoiying doing so.
I love the stop starts in this - the drummer'll need some boost & compression when you do this to get that face kicking edge.
Cool stuff.

Thanks Shawn! Yeah we all share a love of the same type of music, so it makes it really fun to throw a setlist together and jam...I'll post our next gig up here!!

Hi Ray, this one is pretty tough for me as there are a ton of guitars on this for the studio version, plus a harmonica solo...so I just try to capture the spirit the best I can...good point onthe drum sound...we struggle with that in our live sound....thanks for listening!

here is a few others if anyone wants to listen:
