Might sound like a daft question.
I use an apogee duet as my interface.

Is there a way to bus/route my computer's line out via logic and run a limiter/compressor on it.

I don't mind if there's any latency, it's basically just so that when I listen to music on iTunes late at night, it's squashed so I don't have to keep turning it up and down?

Just if there's an easy way to do it?

Managed to get it going.

I downloaded an application called soundflower.

Then I set the duet as the output in soundflower, and set soundflower as an input in logic, with the duet as the output again, and put the limiter plugin on the channel strip.
