Hello again
Ok, I use Reaper for making my own custom backing tracks for a solo/duo act in order to play against the MP3's. My goal/vision is more or less like Karaoke with out guitar parts and vocals
My question is what live equipment would be good (of course, the obvious - PA system). I have seen people use laptops, MP3 players plugged directly in to PA with other
equipment - what are some good suggestions for equipment (besides the obvious PA) to set this up so I can do solo/duo work? I know one can get in to a lot of detail with electronics which can get expensive. I have looked at a few PA packages on a few Internet sites and pretty much decided on the one but what else would I need other than just a mixer, powered speakers?
