Ok, pretty simple question I believe. For those of you familar with the Behringer UB 802 mixer, if not heres a great detailed picture of the mixer:
Basically I am using ACID 4.0 and I have a mic plugged into the XLR in channel 1. I will be recording my vocals and my guitar amp at different times, separately. I will also be using loops for drums and bass inside the acid program.
I can either:
a)run a 1/4" from the mixers "FX SEND" to my Sound Blaster Live! LINE IN with a 1/8" adapter
b)run a Y cable from the mixers "TAPE OUT" to my Sound Blaster Live! LINE IN
The above information I gathered from my other thread, located here.
The problem is how can I hear the tracks I have already recorded and at the same time here the track I am currently recording (like vocals). I am trying to understand exactly what cords I need and where they need to be plugged into etc..
Any help on this would be very much appreciated. I am gettin closer to being able to record a song!
Thanks in advance
