I just bought a new POD 2.3 also.....
But, guess what?
My local Long & Mquade store here in Toronto always let's me do a TRADE for new gear, they will gimmee a credit for my 3 month old POD and take it back for their gear rental dept. (minus the 3 months rental price of course, which is how long I've used it) and then apply the rest towards the price of a new POD XT, that way I'll only loose approx $120 Cdn ($75 USD).....which seems pretty good to ME
