Hi Guys - I've added to this discussion in the past, but now I need new input.
I'm using a line 6 floorboard with my POD. The distortion switch isn't a clean/dirty switch, but rather a less/more distortion switch. I'd write a new patch and just bounce to it, but it doesn't feel too smooth right now.
So my question is this (and it's a bastard) - I understand you can totally cut the distortion with the distortion switch on the AX2, but not the Flextones. On the other hand, the Flextones (and II's, I assume) have an effects loop. I do some funky pedal stuff, so I need that loop between distortion and the cone, but the AX2 doesn't have an effects loop, is that right?
If I could fuse the loop of the Flextone with the AX2's circuitrity and control of distortion, I'd have my next amp. Suggestions or advice from anyone who's used one of these amps? Thanks.
