I have a chance to purchase a new copy of Apple's Logic Pro version 7 "academic" from a friend of a friend of a friend who got it after it fell off a truck
. The only info that I have on it is that Its a full "academic" version and that I'd have to be able to meet apples requirments for registration (which i have no idea what they are). I had intended to go the logic pro route for my recording software and this guy is willing to part with it for about $200, however im not sure if I'll even be able to use it if i dont meet the requirements. I guess what I'm trying to ask is:
-what should I do???
-What's the difference between the "regular" version and the "academic" version
-and if anyone can help me find what those "academic" requirements are
any help would be greatly appreciated
