Check out my acoustic band, Liam Sinclair, on Soundclick. We just posted a new song, "Downtown Near Market". Please leave some honest feedback in here so we know what to improve on. Comment on anything from the quality of the recording to to quality of vocals and everything in between. Here's the site:

Thanks

haha....wasn't exactly the response i was expecting....but ok

Last time I checked the guitar was in tune (I always make sure it is before i record)

You're probably hearing the Dsus2 chord that i'm playing as the first chord in the intro/verse progression (with a capo on the 3rd fret), so it probably makes it sound like it's out of tune.

Any more comments?

Nice song but the vocals seem to lack a certain warmth or "presence" that would make them outstanding. The chord phrasings where not my cup of tea (that doesnt matter) but the mix sounded a little boomy.

Overall a 6.5 out of 10. IMHO

It's pretty clean sounding, but the reverb on the vocals and a few of the guitars seems at some points really overdone and at othertimes nonexistant. Where you automating the levels or what? It sounds kind of unnatural. I'd mix it with a simple, subtle, natural sounding reverb consistently. Seems a little overcompressed at points.

The vocal lacks confidence, too; not that I'm a great singer (I just bury my lack of talent in layers of overproduction), but you might want to do a few more takes and work on the pitch and the overall confidence a little.
