thats very good to know.
Audio data goes through the analog or S/PDIF connections
SonicAlbert said:I'm assuming it's realtime, but there would certainly be latency of some milliseconds. The question is how much?

The price is pretty much $199 everywhere....
It would be cool if you didn't need to wire it analog..... you know, just a USB port.... that would be slick if they could do it w/o latency....![]()
The design has good quality codecs in it. Probably overkill for a $200 box.
I re-read that again... I'm now convinced you either:mx200 questions
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll answer a few of your questions:
The MX200 is a 48kHz device, that can also handle 44.1kHz. When connected via the analog jacks it samples at 48kHz. When connected to a valid SPDIF stream, it will sync to rate of the spdif. 48kHz or 44.1kHz.
The USB is used for control data. It is USB 1.1 full-speed.
The MX-Edit software uses midi messages to control the box either through USB or midi jacks.
The MX200 is nothing like the MPX200. I do not know why marketing chose that name.
The reverbs in the box are closely matched to the MPX550. The effects are better.
Post other questions if you have them.
