cool! I didn't really know about the 480, so I just surfed-up on it. How big is the unit?

It is a black 3 unit mainframe, controlled by a remote called LARC. There even is a 960 these days.
On almost every photo of a big studioconcole you'll see a little white box with I believe 5 faders. That means there heaving a big buck Lexicon.
