Let's have some fun...

Milan: haha, thanks! Remember: it's new vocals and something extra. ;) It's gonna be fun!

digitcallous: it's a second individual guitar track, playing the same part.......an octave lower.

ChristopherM: in english, it's "crazybone" I believe. That weird spot at the end of your elbow, you know? When you touch it, it evokes a peculiar electric sensation.

You sir are a genious! I am humbled to be in the presence of so much talent around here. Very nicely produced and your arranging skills are amazing! Guitar is very nice, vocals are right on the money and can't imagine where your going with retracking them. No sound card here at work so I'll have to listen tonight while configuring my new system in another PC burnout session. That alone is enough to wear me out these days and can't imagine where you young bucks get the energy to be so productive! You said three kids now right? I'd better stop here but could go on and on about how good this is. Can't find a thing to comment on for improvement.

Hey, checken this outen!

Wow! Nice job....Great groove and love the harmonies. When you say "one day", do you mean 24 hours? That's an awful lot to accomplish in one day! Great job either way.

The only gripe is that the words sound like they're in another language!:D

Great song!

Hey Pedullist, my Northern Hemispherical buddy!

This is another fine effort.

Disco? I don't think so. I was there at the time, and this is far too good to be lumbered with the epithet Disco.

It's a good composition, nice chord structure, interesting changes.
Another flawless performance with some tasty drum sequencing.
That lovely bass-playing of yours very nicely underpins the whole shebang.

It has a solid and rhythmic feel. Your vocals are fine.

This is one for my regular rotation of MP3s.

Now if you'd care to slow down a bit and give us struggling mere mortals a chance...

Oh, how I envy that hair...

very nice ped. drums are well programmed. shit, they sound almost real. I always liked the Blue Jay drums.

Overall, you're one talented musician. You actually played all the parts very well and sing well too! You're a one man band.

I like the bump bump bump bump part at the 3 minute mark a lot! very locked in. seems like the whole song could start there?

wow that part is very nice.

...by the way...what exactly, in English, is a "telephoonbot?"
The only Dutch/English translation engine I could find online couldn't translate it? :)

It means "phone booth"

Zikes: translation of my comment by www.freetranslation.com (good luck reading it!):

He Zikes, thanks man. Well, song can always better. And no, brilliant I am not hear. I work only normally hard, as Brian Wilson usually said. Where have you for god's sake that gotten odd text from here?

rushfan33: thanks. If you're interested: I did a SLuiCe cover in english once (Brother With Wings, it's on the same page). The words should sound a little bit more normal. :)

BluesMeister: (you really miss your hair, don't ya?) ;)

Thanks a lot, I shall slow down for you the next weeks.

erichenryus: you have no idea how much your comment about the well programmed drums means to me. Since I've entered this board, my ambition was to program my drums as humanly as possible. I've been 'studying' drums everyday, and I finally feel like I've understood the mind of a drummer. Still, I'm sometimes lost, "can a drummer really play this?" But I had a good creative day this particular day, everything went pretty smoothly.

And the bump bump bump part: this is how I usually work. When I'm building the tune, I usually sing the parts at first, and replace them with instruments later on. I hum/sing drumfills too. This time, I chose to keep the original vocal tracks. Funny to hear you actually like them.

Khompewtur : no, it doesn't :D (check out my response to ChristopherM)

No i'm sorry but it does... "telefonboot" = "phone booth" in Dutch ~~> English translation.

Puh-leeze, Who is the expert here! Just because you live there don't get all hoity toity.

Ok...no fighting! I was just curious.
I'll look it up in a bookstore! Geesh!

I'm singing about a bruising injury from a direct blow to the ulnar nerve where it lies close to the surface at the elbow. In other words: an ulnar nerve elbow contusion (also ''Crazybone'' or ''Crazy Nerve'' Contusion). It causes shocking, electric sensations extending down to the ring fingers and little fingers (amongst some other things).

If you think I've just described a phone booth, you're probably right Khompewtur. :)

Btw, I believe Telefonboot = phonebooth in german (but that word is a little different, you see....the letter o has moved places!)

Ueberraschung???????

Were we or were we not waiting for a surprise???????
Did I miss it??????? Should I re-download?????

First rate my friend..........but disco?.....I don't think so.
Reminds me of Supertramp......very, very nice man.
I liked the changes and the deliberately disjointed sort of feel to it.

The guitar work was good also and that was a bit of a surprise. I'm not sure if I've really heard much guitar from you before. I did find the guitar to be too dry however.

I really liked the vocals and harmonies.....especially the accapella part. The sound is good too.......not quite as clean as I would have liked but a nice mix.

As always......you've done a top notch job on this......impressive for a day's work or any amount of time for that matter.
