The vocals remind me of Joe Strummer from the Clash and the drumming reminds me of Filthy Animal from Motorhead. It's generally an all round ass kicking, beer swilling, head banging slice of rocknroll
Lol. I've already got a title and cover idea. Should be kinda funny and maybe a little disturbing. Thanks Bushmaster.Cool Tune !! I can see the cover of your cd as one big "Parent Advisory" sticker. There you go !!!! Thats the artwork and title.
Thanks dude. The Clash and Motorhead are definitely two of my favorite bands and inspirations, so thanks a lot for the comparison. I freakin love those bands. The vocals remind me of Joe Strummer from the Clash and the drumming reminds me of Filthy Animal from Motorhead. Thanks Marca. I use 2 different reverbs usually depending on what I'm going for. I use the free Kjaerhus Classic Reverb, or Reaper's Reaverb Convolution reverb. Now I want to punch somebody in the face! Awesome! Its so glued toghether. Your recordings sound more and more professional every song that you make. This with a lite mastering will shine. Nicely done, buddy.
What reverb do you use?
Holy crap dude, thanks a lot. I appreciate the kind words. It means a lot coming from you.holy crap dude.
i'm totally humbled, on both sides of the glass. i know you're fond of depricating yourself on your drumming skills, but as far as i'm concerned, you've just graduated to the upper crust of this place. the drumming is crazy tight. if you challenged me to a dual, i'd be very reluctant to accept.
and that's just the performance. recording??? forget it. you'd mop the floor with my hairy ass. good heavens man, stop making the rest of us look so awful.
this is by far the best thing you've put out. you're always dependable for good stuff, but the bite on the bass, overall drum sound, lead & backing vox, and solid guitar is every one-man-band's fantasy.
you've really outdone yourself. not one nit here.
did i mention that it's well-done?
yeesh. the only person around here that i'd lavish that kind of praise on is steve.h, and he makes music that i'm absolutely nuts about--i'm not even a punk fan and i'm creaming my jeans. that should mean something.
Thanks antichef.Coming in late, as usual these days -- sounds kickass!
Not much I can say, really powerful and epic. Drumming in the intro was awesome. I'm not a punk fan but this was a pretty killer recording. You guys can actually play!
almost every line is an english cliche! i dont think you can have a raunchy song, but such textbook lyrics!
Thanks Ciro!Hi, Greg, I just was listening (with headphones), some ballads on youtube, and change to "Let´s Go"!"
(works fine)
Good job...and great "Ace" solo (love it)
Ciro
Well Jordan, I really don't give a fuck if you like it or not. My lyrics are never anything more than an afterthought. I have nothing to say and no one wants to hear it anyway. My only goal with writing music is to fucking rock your asshole till it bleeds.I dont like the words in the lyrics.
I’m your fearless leader
step in line and know your place
I’ll make you a believer
sweat and blood across your face
Into the dark of night
everybody lock and load
pump a fist and start to run
especially that first part, almost every line is an english cliche! i dont think you can have a raunchy song, but such textbook lyrics!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (breathe) HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
And there you have it...The D Man has spoken.
(wipes tears from eyes)
Hi Gergles....![]()
not my scene but that sounded great...there were lyrics?![]()
Thanks dude. The drums are real. Mapex Pro-M's with Evans heads. Everything written and played by me. Rockabilly and old punk are very much my main influences with a touch of metal thrown in. Thanks for checking it out.Greg, that was a lot of fun..
Not really punk.. much too clean and the playing has much more conviction than most punk music.
I like the drums (what did you use for them) they are almost rockabilly with a punk vocal with a quasi metal guitar..
I too love mixing up genres..
The mix is really professional sounding on this one.. a few more dynamics would help give some space as when everything is compressed at the same level it does tend to wear one out by the end of the song. But that is mostly just nitpicking.
Good work!

Damn impressive.. I'm a bit jealous.. I started out a drummer but I am an older cat and I had a couple of hip replacements and the legs don't work like they used to, I can't kick or hat anymore.. so I am relegated to using other means.. usualy tapping them out on a keyboard and rendering them as a kit later.
I play a vareity of horns and stringed instruments, pianos/synths etc.. but oh how I wish I could still bang on them drums..
Thanks Ciro!
