Dude, who can tell?

Here's Rumble III.

I fear the excellent response will cause me to consider selling all my equipment and becoming a radiohead.

Sorry i'm so late

Hey guys had an extremely painful hangover today ...but i finally managed to get the song finished ....

Lurgan Liar Rumble (link has been fixed)

Heres my interpretation of it....by the way i used a crappy £20 / $40 uni directional dynamic mic(its all i have at the minute) and a 100 W Marshall....and my epi les paul....recorded dry and added a little reverb plug in ...

LOL sorry man ...i'm incredibly stoopid lol...it has been fixed now ...

Lurgan Liar Rumbe

Good one Lurgan Liar. :) Things that stand out to me are the tone, intonation, the descending sequence at :59 and the ending harmony.

Tim

Thanks Tim....i really enjoyed recording it ....i'm pretty new to recording ...and this thread has really given me insight into different styles of playing ...and recording techniques...

i'll be honest i drowned mine in reverb to hide the many mistakes throughout it ....

Lurgan, nice solo. Very cool. I lliked the sound of it. Very cool.

BTW, Rumble III is now going. You are busy this weekend. Get to hopping. And a hangover is no excuse. I think I have had a constant one for 3 years now. Hasn't stopped me. :D

Heh-heh... The sugar syrup we all use on our music - reverb - well, and compression too!

Hey everybody, I realize everyone has moved on to the rumble #3, but I've been trying to get time to do this for like 2 weeks and last night I decided to get it done and this track was the only one I had downloaded and brought home! (I gotta download at work due to SHIT dial up at home) Anyways, sorry about the DI tone, it was late and no chance of using the amp  ....

Hi

Great tone and playing. I'm using a DI too so I can appreciate the talent.

Jack Real.

Hey metalhead28 I like it. The part I like best is at :50 where there's a really well done twisting turning run that launches the ending phrase.

As self proclaimed Rumble protocol droid let me welcome you to the Rumble and say that, as far as THIS droid is concerned each Rumble is open for future entries at any time.

So glad you guys liked it!
I hadn't left any previous comments on this thread, so let me say now that I really enjoyed all the posts! I was really floored by how much talent is floating around on this board. Thanks for all the kind words!

Wow, really nice metaldude. I liked it a bunch. Fit very well. Rokket will be pleased. And I like the tone. I understand about direct, as I don't think my amp has been on for about 15 years. Doesn't work very well, so I have to go direct myself. Good job, and hope you can play one for Rumble III. Apl's backing track is pretty cool, but different than this one, so should be fun to play to.

I like this idea Tim, and maybe people could let you know if they do play to one that is older, and you could let us know about it. I'd actually hate to miss a solo, as this is pretty cool.

And BTW, I hope mshilarious joins in, as he started it, and I don't know if anything could be as difficult to play to as the Yamaha thingy. Of course, I've got a few tracks that may be near impossible, but we'll get to that later. :D

I wish the rumbles would attain sticky status, so they could be added onto whenever...
