ok ok I asked this question about 5 years ago and couldnt get an answer...what the hell is jiggy, cause this sounds like Ted Nugent and I dont think he ever got jiggy, whatever the hell it is

Thin-sound, mids-completely-sucked-out, inconsistent timing/performance, track balances are irregular...........
I personally wouldn't call it a "masterpiece" of sound engineering, but YMMV.........

I, V, IV blues... by JEAP... cool lead, I like the pick-less sound on that. Piano rolls were pure "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"

Very disco-rap EQ settings (the SMILE graphic EQ comes to mind...)

jeap - I though it was a pretty cool song. As usual, you have a gem line here and there. Liked the lead guitar sound.
Am I reading too much into this or am I the only one who noticed... Chubby Checker had a hit with "The Twist". A year or so later he had another single titled something like "Twist Again" which had lines similar to the "2nd Jiggy". Intentional?

i left the first take of the rhythm guitar in even though i missed some changes. i start thinking about something else... i do that a lot!
you are not going to believe me maybe but there is not one bit of EQ on the whole thing! i dont use it unless i have to and i havent had to yet!

satan and ted nugent both appeared!!!! ted nugent? i will have to cover free for all and cat scratch fever!!!! ted i think is better now than ever.
thanks muzeman. the lead is my 200$ special dearmond set-neck sg with gold tone pickups from the great dearmond blowout. that goes into a roland vg88 through the regular guitar input. then to an amp model with some gain. then a little comp and delay. then it goes through a limiter then another comp then bbe then it gets room verb and then it goes into the dps16. then it gets the same treatment as the vocal. comp delay and hall verb. it sounds like a lot of processing but i try to have a light touch with the dynamics and do it in stages. the bbe is set almost at zero. its supposed to correct phase relationships and if its good enough for van halen...
yeah i have fun. i left some impromptu laghing in there when i cracked up over the megaphone sound.
i love this place too!

i know nothing of the sort. actually i am the only sane person in the world.
i wrote the entire thing almost as an example of "urban" lyrics for badgas. what happened to badgas?
it was over in the writers forum and i wasnt able to use the whole thing in the original jiggy so it was a big relief to finally use it in this one!
its probly all still there in the writers forum.

sorry but i cant dig the negativity. life for some ppls seems to be pure misery and they want to spread it around.
this guy follows me around and picks on everything i say. does that mean he "likes" me? lucky me!
he says he is trying to "protect" everyone from me and my "ideas". he does this by calling me names and saying the "f" word over and over.
you know when somebody has a limited vocabulary and they say the "f" word over and over its not really communicating anything except that they are miserable.
not that i never used "colorful" language! i have been known to be a pottymouth myself and i appreciate gutter language at times.
but as a spice not as one's main gig.
