I have 18 oz of Nitro on the maple top now, time to let it cure for a bit. It is visually stunning, it far exceeds my expectations.

I also said that Gibson have for a number of years used a placsticised nitro that is a pain. I mentioned this in my LP build thread also as something I don't like about modern Gibsons.

Hell it don't matter. He never intended it as a serious question in the first place. He'd already done the stripping. I don't believe he has contacted Gibson for info either. I also know what they will tell him if he has. They will tell him that they use their own recipes and that they are unique to their process. If he can not provide a warranty service ID they will not tell him much.

When I think of a Jr, one image comes to mind first.....Johnny Thunders and his LP Jr TV Yellow singe P-90 w/ tortoise pickguard. Awesomeness.
