Guitars sounds excellent (+ voice).

Snare sounds thin and behind the band,I´d go for a fatter sampler

Lows are coming most from the BD´s sub frequencies, Bass Guitar could be more present.

I'm listening on a less than ideal system so it's difficult to give you mix advice... I do notice that this is a smokin' hot tune though!!! Seriously I love the staccato (?) chops and the associated vocals then the more flowing chords that change it up later. Vocals are superb as always and you've got the tone down on those guitars. Great piece....

Hi Joey,
Very intense song, with lots of interesting techniques. I really enjoy listening to your singing and harmonies. The two places where you sing the lyrics "... a sacrifice to set you free/save your soul...", it seems like you need to do some adjustments to make it blend better with the song. The technique is much more pleasing where you sing "hey" (repeated). Maybe you used two different techniques, but I think it would meld better if the bridges sounded more like the "hey" part. Does that make sense?

Guitar tone and vocals sound good. Not so keen on your snare sound. Seems to be plenty of space around everything and the vocals are sitting well in the mix which is always a good sign. I like the melodies too. Good tunage!

That's the bridge that you refer to, I have a megaphone on the voice there. It's supposed to give the song a jolt there, if you know what I mean.... Thanx for listening!

Thanx BH! I'll be checking that snare again. It's supposed to have a metallic clang to it but I don't know if that's working.

I'd like to hear more bass gtr, and a fatter snare. This snare sound is okay on it's own, but maybe not for this song. This snare belongs in something a little lighter. More overheads too. The hats and stuff get lost at times.

Do you mean the deep tone one or the high tone one? The guitars were tuned down fully in D for this one. It's actually an older song which I always wanted to record with better quality, so I tuned the guitars down like when I did it the first time a coupla years ago. In the intro the melody starts on the low E in the very first fret, that mght be a bit too low for the human ear, but it sounds evil..... You're definitely right about the snare and the cymbals, they're not coming thru. I'll have to fix those. Thanx for the help!

Im not using the greatest speakers to hear this but I hear the guitar great the vocals are great... the only thing im not hearing that great is the bass... and the drums could be a bit louder. Either way sounds really good I couldn't amagine how to even start recording a rock band. Im just working on vocals!

Well, there's a first time for everything....
I think it's easier recording oneself than a whole band, though.
I'll be EQing the bass again to fill up the void and the snare drum too to make it sound fatter. Thanx for the comments!
