Leave (Get Out) - JoJo IDEAS

I wanted to do a remix of this track (Leave (Get Out) - JoJo). BUT im not too sure how to achieve a close sound to what they have done to mix it.

All i need help is on the 1st verse. What you guys think they did so i can replicate that.

What effects may have been used. What compression ratio may have been used (what do you think the ratio is?) And how they double up the verse at certain point, but it still sounds clear/nice but not muddy at all.

I know its trial and error, but if someone could help me it would be greatly appreshiated.

Remember; I only need ideas on how to replicate the sound of the vocals (compression, reverb etc.)
