Not quite, Picker. An ART tube or a Bellari wouldn't be much help, but a DMP3, VTB-1, RNP, etc would be. I recommend the DMP3 because it's the best cheap dual channel I know of, and for that pair of SD's, you need 2 matching channels. I'll admit I've got better pres than the DMP3, but I use it for a couple of applications anyway. It's the front end for my portable studio, which is based on a KORG PXR4 Pandora and a pair of AKG C2000B's. In the studio, I use it for a dedicated talkback preamp. It is what it is, and for what it is, it's impressive.-Richie
