right now i'm using my guitarport as a recording tool cause it sounds great recorded. my only problem is that when im recording there is a delay between the guitar port and the software. the delay is at 10 ms and thats the lowest latency i can get. it gives me a wierd echo effect which is annoying even though it doesn't effect me much when recording. but i do get alot of dropoutk...during recording and playback. i am using a shitty stock soundcard also i don't know if that has been messing iwth my chain since the line out goes into the mic in on my laptop. i am getting a edirol ua-1000 sometime in august when they get shipped. im wondering if that will help me at all with the latency
