Trailing Behind Again
BentRabbit once more on drums, Purge has the solo.

He had to play it DI, so it's problematic. I think I got it...

help!

Such A Shame

Pretty good mix here. As always, your voice sounds cool.

The distorted guitar sounds really quiet and distant. It could probably stand to be brought up a bit.
The solo sounds cool, but it might have been slightly behind the beat. I'd double check that.

Thanks, I nudged it up a bit, but I haven't posted the update.

Anyone else? :D

Yeah I agree I'd like to hear more of the distorted guitar. I really like the melody. The chorus is very catchy. It got stuck in my head after one listen.
Definitely a sing-along type track. Good stuff.

Sound pretty good, Rabbit's drums are solid and tight and bass & guitar are kicking-that guitar lead is definitely lagging though, give it a bump forward. Keys on intro are cool-I'd like to hear them all through it!:D

Good job on this mix. I know you kind of struggle with your vocals sometimes, but you did very well on this one. Drums sound natural and have some body to them.

My only nit, and it's minor, is the hard panned strum-clicking. It's kind of distracting. All in all though it's very good.

Good song and collab. I"d like to hear the crunch guitar a little more prominent. Kinda catchy.

Last collab? If that means you're shipping out soon then may the "force" be with you. You have several great tunes, this one included, to listen to on your trip. This mix sounds good and I'll check out any updates when they get posted....

Almost forgot to say "great job" to you, BentRabbit and Purge on the collab....;):D

Thanks, all for the listen. I am in San Diego right now and I have a really solid internet connection for once. I will nudge that solo and bring the distorted guitars up. I dropped them down because I wanted the clean guitars with the chorus to be the focal point of the melody. But hey, the audience knows best, right?

Rep all around for those I can give to...

It's funny, this is a breakup song, but it's one of my wife's favorites too. She claims she only likes the melody...

I wanted to bring it all the way through, but it was taking away from the melody. It doesn't fit well after the drums kick in.

I listened to them all on the last trip, which is what prompted me to get some collaberation done on them...;)

Thank you, and a huge thanks to BentRabbit and Purge for making this one great!

This one is updated. The distorted guitars are up, and the solo has been nudged a bit forward, and I think it falls nicely in the groove.

Thanks greg. Your input is valuable to me. I fixed that little problem with the acoustics. There is a little on the right side, but it's lower, so I think it fits better. What do you think?

As far as I'm concerned--you've got it all straightened out. The guitars- rhythm and lead are all sounding just great, drums are solid and a nice kick now, bass and vocals very nice! Great lyrics as well.:)

Thanks for the revisit! :)

Thanks to everyone who gave this a listen and for the kind words. Public apologies go out to Rokket...I was supposed to do an additional part on the end of the song, but (long sob-story short) I ran out of time and anything resembling talent!:o

I hadn't done any recording in quite some time, so Eddie really had to do some turd-polishing on my solo...anything that sounds good there is a testimony to his skills, not mine. Mic'ing just wasn't working for God-knows-what reason, so I had to go direct...and that's hardly ever a good thing for me.

Thanks again to all involved.

You are much too humble and modest, my friend.
