LAME and Logic

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this question, but I didn't see one devoted to bouncing mp3's, so...

I've got projects in Logic, and in the past I've just used Logic to bounce them to mp3's, but I've recently read that LAME is better. I downloaded iTunes-LAME, but I can't figure out how to use it. Can someone please explain how to take a finished project in Logic and create an mp3 from it using LAME?

So... nobody uses this software? Or is there a different sub-forum where I'd be more likely to get replies? I didn't see one for bouncing mp3's...
