I'm not a fan of cover songs in general and when it comes to The Doors I'm particularly critical but in this case it's not that bad. I'd like to hear a final track if you decide to record it.
 
It's very good considering how it was recorded ... but it is very live. The band is tight, and as you can tell from the recording, knows how to capture a groove. Nice job, bud.

The Doors are still one of my most favorite bands.
 
Well done. I don't care for the doors much, but I'm very familiar with this song. The singer did a great job here and I think his voice is pretty well suited to doing JM stuff. It was odd at first without the keys but I got used to that pretty quickly. You got a lot of those signature licks the guitarist always did down pat (Robbie somebody right?). He always seemed like kind of a one trick pony though. Anyway - I enjoyed this recording despite it's one-mic-hanging from the ceiling-ness.
