I'm looking for some info on connecting a hard drive to my K-2000. If anyone,with an average amount of tech knowledge, has had some first hand experience in doing this, I'd appreciate your thoughts.......

My thoughts -- take it to a Kurzweil approved repair center and let them do it.
No one here is foolhardy enough to invest the substantial time it would take to talk you thru the complex procedure a step at a time on a BBS, nor to open themselves up to possible litigation should the process go wrong.
