I kinda like the KSM27 and the at3035...the AT will be more neutral and you might buy 2...the KSM27 hs the type of presesnce you want for a lead vocal mic.
But...and everybody has a big butt...what sounds good on peter might not sound good on paul...try them before you buy them.
Then Ill have to find reasons to take it out often.
Id still like to get 2 of those c2000b mics...but Ill have to listen to pairs of them on guitars and overheads...or I might just get one more KSM32 for that.
what do you think of the 3035? i'm in the market and this is seriously one of my top choices (VERY limited budget). I, also, work in the rap/r&b/funk/blues sector of the musical spectrum and would like someone that has used a 3035 in these settings to give their opinion on how well it works for them!

I picked up another one at a pawn shop today...$50...with a monster cable no less...now I have the exact same deal coming from Ebay next week...lol.
They are 3/4" diaphrams...so they ought to be pretty nice on more stuff than a normal LDC...but unforgiving on things like lead vocals...but should be rather nice on backing vocals...and the better singers with nice clear voices...Id put it in front of John Denver before I would Bruce Springsteen.
I may just try them on overheads and acoustic guitar soon...and dump a set of chinese ones.
