KRK V8's ...how are they?

Are they a good 500 dollar pair of monitors?

I've heard many good things about them. Sounds like a good price, if they are in good shape. They sell for $1200, new.

that is a great price if they're in good shape... I'm a monitor nut, and would pick them up at that price just for the comparison...

my thoughts... a little artificial in the highs... too much shimmer that doesn't actually exist... that being said they SOUND great... just be aware that what you hear is not necessarily what you get.

For $500, they kick some butt...

For $1000, they still kick some butt.

DO make sure they're in good shape...

And audition them IN MONO - It's much easier to tell if they sound different from each other that way...

To me that sounds like a great deal..500 for the pair sounds almost to good to be true..

Well - my ears got ruined after hearing a pair of the ADAMs...........

When I got back to my control room, the KRKs just weren't the same anymore!

are you still audition monitors? if so, if you still get a chance pick up a pair of Truth Audio monitors I've HEARD that they are very similar sounding to the adams and A Helluva lot cheaper
