Krk v6 or Event PS8 please help

Here's a question: I just bought a Hafler TA 1600 amp and KRK ROKIT monitors. The amp has either unbalanced 1/4 outs or spring clip outs. The KRKs have either spade connectors, bare wires, or banana plugs. How should I hook them up?

I was just going to use 10 gauge speaker wire and plug into both the amp and speakers with bare wires.
 
From the Hafler to the KRK's - just use good quality heavy gauge ox free speaker wire
 
Thanks. Actually I bought some 8 gauge wire that is too thick to fit into the Hafler's spring clips, but I figure I can clip a few of the outside wire strands until it's small enough.
 
sjoko2 - I forgot to ask you what is the connection on the LSRs? Is it male or female XLRs?

P.S. The cheapest price I found for a pair is $560. Anybody know a better price?
 
Recepticles are always female, and that sounds like a very good price.
