I was perusing the pages of the latest EM magazine and they had a promo on the KRK ST8 passive monitors. A fairly succinct review. However, the price listed by EM was 499.00 USD.
I just bought a pair for less than half of that price.
I think that EM zine has kind of lost touch with folks with home studios. Too much high tech jargon and very few, if any, simple bits of help, like WE GET HERE ON BBS.
I think I'll get off an E-post to the editor and vent a bit.
Another thing about EM, they send out a notice to renew a subscription about 4 months early. Do any of you pay your electric bills 4 months early? House payments? Car payments?
Kind of a stupid mind set. I've already posted EM about that technique -- no response. It figures.
