Currently, i've been using my rp5s. They've been great, though i've had them for only a few months. But today, I just got offered to buy a pair of RP8s for $320. Brand new. But it's a one day only sorta thing. Should I go for it? Will it make that much of a difference? And if I should, anyone wanna buy a pair of RP5s? Thanks!

i had the RP8's at the house for awhile. they were my pick
at GC.

i loved the sound but my room is small and had the speakers
on a small mixing-desk.
and they were too "big" for my small rooom
...or my opinion is they seemed
more like a pro-engineering room size monitor.(like the V6's)

it still gets my gearlust, now when i got to GC the fhkrs are
$500+!!!... and they are sweet and yellow kevlar.

the ones i had were DEMO's $375 and were broken in.
i read somewhere Kevlar takes some time to break in,
no comment on that issue.

you can't go wrong for $320?

But them you'll be happy. Even if you don't like them at that price you can get all of your money back out of them.

you got a point there. I was thinking that they may also be too big for my bedroom, but if anything, I can sell them again to someone for $400 and still make an $80 profit. Thanks. I'm gonna post an ad for my krk rp5s in the classifieds.
